SEX fiend John Porteous will stay in jail until at least next year.
The 71–year–old has been denied parole from HMP Peterhead. Porteous and his supporters hoped he would be released just half–way through his five year sentence.
The former Quarrier's house father was convicted in November 2002 for abusing two boys between 1969 and 1977.
Supporters have always claimed he is innocent and the accusations will be proved lies.
This morning David Whelan (48) welcomed the decision saying, "He has done nothing to address his own complex issue while in prison and did not deserve early parole."
"We, the victims, did not wish this situation to evolve this way and it is with sadness that we had to object to Mr Porteous's parole."
"Myself and others abused in Quarriers Homes will continue to call for a full judicial public inquiry."
